How many cold emails per day per inbox?

There is no universal safe number of cold emails per day per inbox. Set a conservative campaign cap based on the mailbox?s history, provider rules, total follow-up volume and ability to handle replies. A provider?s maximum is a technical ceiling, not a target or a guarantee of inbox placement.

What is the difference between a provider limit and an outreach cap?

A provider limit protects the mail service. Your outreach cap is an operating choice that should leave room for ordinary business mail and replies. The two numbers have different purposes. Reaching a provider?s published maximum can still trigger restrictions, and sending below it does not guarantee that recipients want the messages.

Read the current personal Gmail limit documentation and Workspace sending limits. Account-level restrictions can change. Connecting the same Gmail account to two workspaces does not create two provider allowances.

How do you calculate capacity with follow-ups?

Start with messages, not contacts. Suppose you choose a planning cap of 25 campaign messages per day and send on 20 days in a month. One inbox can then contribute at most 500 campaign sends before delays, pauses or account errors. With three messages per completed sequence, that is roughly 166 complete contact journeys, not 500 new prospects plus free follow-ups.

This is arithmetic for planning, not a recommendation that 25 is safe for every account. If two inboxes each follow that schedule, the theoretical campaign total is 1,000 sends. A workspace plan can still be the tighter limit. Reply-based stops reduce actual volume, while a backlog can concentrate scheduled follow-ups on the same later day.

Which settings control the schedule in Followkite?

  1. Choose the daily limit per inbox. Use a cap that leaves room for expected responses and normal correspondence. The default is 25; lower it if your circumstances call for less.
  2. Set minimum and maximum delays. Followkite reserves pacing slots rather than dispatching all queued messages at once. Random gaps do not make unwanted mail acceptable.
  3. Select sending days and timezone. Check the campaign window against your team?s working hours and the recipient?s context.
  4. Count every step. Multiply list size by the maximum number of messages each contact could receive. Compare that total with the monthly plan allowance.
  5. Test an end-to-end sequence. Confirm the first message, reply synchronization, automatic stop and suppression behavior before scheduling a larger audience.

When should you lower volume or pause?

Pause when you see provider warnings, authentication failures, unexpected bounces, complaints or a list whose relevance you cannot explain. Inspect what changed: the audience source, the offer, the mailbox configuration, or the pace. Do not add more accounts simply to work around a provider restriction.

Followkite includes automatic safety pauses, but those are backstops rather than a reason to wait for a threshold. Check campaign and inbox reports daily during an initial test. Google?s sender guidelines describe authentication and complaint requirements; those requirements still apply when software schedules the messages for you.

Which daily-limit mistakes are easiest to avoid?

Do not count only first touches, treat an alias as a fresh mailbox allowance, or assume two applications coordinate their send counters. Do not restart a failed campaign without checking whether earlier messages were dispatched. Followkite deliberately avoids automatically resending an uncertain delivery because an unknown result is different from a confirmed failure.

Finally, budget response time. If the team cannot answer the replies a test produces, adding more daily sends creates a service problem rather than a better pipeline. The practical capacity is the smallest of provider allowance, plan allowance, time-window capacity and your ability to respond thoughtfully.

What does Followkite cost?

Plans are billed per workspace. Mailbox hosting and domain registration are separate purchases. Choose a plan by total campaign sends, including follow-ups, rather than the size of your prospect list alone.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cold email daily sending limit for Gmail?

Google does not publish a special safe cold-email quota. Its personal Gmail help warns about more than 500 messages a day. Paid Workspace accounts generally have a 2,000-message daily ceiling, with separate rules for trials, recipients and sending methods.

Does Followkite allow 500 emails per day?

The per-inbox daily setting accepts 1 to 500 sends. That is a software setting, not permission from your mailbox provider or a recommended target. Your plan?s monthly allowance and provider limits also apply.

Do follow-ups count toward the daily cap?

Yes. Plan for all outgoing messages, including follow-ups, not just newly contacted prospects. Normal messages sent outside Followkite can also consume the provider account?s capacity.
